Benja Valencia

Benja Valencia is a Chilean urban singer-songwriter and rapper from Algarrobo who first posted piano-led ballads before pivoting to reggaetón and trap, shaping a diary-style writing voice. He gathered his early material on the 19-track mixtape Mil Canciones (2021), then opened a more professional phase in 2023 with the EP 888 (via Warner Music Chile) and collaborative singles like “Sigo Pensando” with Kidd Voodoo, which sketched a sleeker, melody-first sound. The following year he doubled down with 888: PRIVATE PARTY (2024), home to the streaming favorite “Atractiva,” and expanded his range on the posse cut “SATIROS,” bringing in Kidd Voodoo, Martinwhite, Daiko 02, flackoloyal, Swift 047, and Craken over a darker, club-driven palette. He capped 2024 with the album Y8: Todo Lo Que Nunca Te Dije, leaning into mid-tempo pop-urbano and coastal moods on songs such as “Frente al Mar.” A busy 2025 cemented his rise through a steady drip of singles and videos: the romantic “QUÉDATE” (with Yarge), glossy reggaetón entry “HOY SE DA,” the Julianno Sosa link-up “CORA KAWAII,” the uptempo “AY DIABLO MAMI!” (with Letter), “TE SOÑÉ” (with Bryartz), and the centerpiece duet “Sentimiento Mágico” with Sinaka.
