Bec Lavelle

Rebecca Anne Lavelle, known professionally as Bec Lavelle, born on March 18, 1980, in Maitland, New South Wales, is an Australian musician and singer-songwriter. She began her career providing lead vocals for songs on the TV drama McLeod's Daughters from 2001 to 2009, with the first soundtrack volume peaking at number 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart and certified platinum. As a solo artist, Lavelle released her debut album Intimate Portrait in 2007, which peaked in the top 100 in both Switzerland and Germany. Her subsequent albums include Love & Bravery (2010), Kehr Wieder (2016), and IV (2020). Notable singles from her solo career include "Breakthrough Away" (2010) and "River" featuring James Blundell (2015).
