Beborn Beton

Beborn Beton is a German synth-pop band that was formed in 1989 in the city of Essen, Germany. The band consists of Stefan Netschio (vocals), Michael B Wagner (synthesisers), and Stefan Tillmann (synthesisers and drums). Beborn Beton's music combines catchy pop melodies with electronic rhythms and synthesizer sounds. Their first album, Tybalt, was released in 1990, and it received critical acclaim for its danceable synth-pop tracks and introspective lyrics. The band's second album, Concrete Ground, released in 1994, featured the hit single "Im Innern Einer Frau," which became a club favourite in Germany and beyond. The album was a commercial success, establishing them as one of the leading synth-pop acts in Europe. Beborn Beton continued to release albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including Nightfall (1996), Truth(1997), Fake (1999), and Rückkehr zum Eisplaneten (2000). The group has remained active over the years, touring and performing at festivals across Europe and beyond. They have also collaborated with other artists in the genre, including Ad Inferna, Depeche Mode and Covenant, among others. In 2015, Beborn Beton released their seventh studio album, A Worthy Compensation, followed by Darkness Falls Again in 2023, peaking at number 39 on the Top 100 Albums chart and attracting a new generation of both local and international fans, alike.
