Bay Turner is an American Christian pop and gospel singer known for his powerful voice and emotional performances. He gained widespread recognition after appearing on the 17th season of America's Got Talent in 2022, where his rendition of Calum Scott's "Biblical " captivated both judges and audiences. Originally from Houston, Texas, Bay Turner's journey to the stage has been marked by personal struggles, including the need to overcome significant health issues. Prior to her rise to fame, Turner underwent life-changing surgery to remove a benign tumor from her vocal cords, which initially threatened her ability to sing. Despite the physical consequences, her determination and passion for music saw her through the recovery process. Her resilience and commitment to her art have been central themes in her career. Bay Turner's music is characterized by its Christian lyrics and soulful interpretation, often touching on themes of love, perseverance and personal growth. Beyond America's Got Talent, he continues to build his career, performing in various venues and working on new material. In 2024, Bay Turner rose to fame with his debut track "Brand New", which reached number 38 on Billboard's Top 50 Christian Songs. This was followed by an alternative version in a more gospel style, with choirs in the foreground, and a duet with singer Terrian. Bay Turner scores two more chart hits with "Praise the Lord (Sunday Prelude)" and "Somebody's Praying", included on the Better Days EP (2025).
