Ayaka Segawa

Ayaka Segawa, born on April 27, 1992, in Furano, Hokkaido, Japan, is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She began playing the piano at age five and initially pursued a career in nursing, graduating from the Nursing Department of Tokyo Metropolitan University's Health Sciences Faculty. Her musical journey started when she was encouraged to enter the Miss Campus Contest during her university years, which led to her signing with the talent agency Benne. Her debut single "Yumebiyori" was released on June 15, 2016, marking her major label debut under Pony Canyon. In October of the same year, she released her first EP Koi no shirase. Her music career has been characterized by a blend of acoustic guitar and keyboard performances, with notable albums including SegaWanderful (2017), Sentimental (2018), and Tender (2019). She has also released several digital singles and collaborated on various projects, such as the CM song "Have a good day!" for Rusutsu Resort. She released her best album Ayakagatari 〜10th Anniversary Selection〜 on August 6, 2025.
