Avalon Emerson

Avalon Emerson, born Avalon Emerson on 10 November 1988 in San Francisco, California, is an American electronic music producer, DJ, and singer whose early exposure to synth‑pop and family recording sessions sparked an interest in production. She began her career with the 2014 EP Let Me Love & Steal and the 2016 album Narcissus in Retrograde, followed by the 2020 DJ‑Kicks EP and the 2023 releases Astrology Poisoning and The Charm. Her singles "Long‑Forgotten Fairytale" (2020) and "Jupiter and Mars" (2026) received club acclaim, and she performed at venues such as Berghain, Coachella, and Sónar. The album Written into Changes was released in 2026, continuing Avalon Emerson on the indie electronic path. Emerson’s work is noted for melodic synthesizers and heavy percussion, and she has remixed artists including Slowdive, Christine and the Queens, and Robyn, cementing her influence within contemporary electronic music.
