Armenta

Miguel Armenta, known mononymously as Armenta, began his musical journey in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, singing in his school choir before honing songwriting skills behind the scenes for major regional Mexican acts—penning chart-topping hits like “TQM,” “Bebe Dame,” and “Crazyz” for artists such as Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, and Tito Double P. In 2019, he transitioned to the spotlight with his debut single “Otra Vez” , followed by soulful tracks like “19 Horas,” “Finjo,” and “Moro,” which showcased his gift for blending R&B with Mexican folk textures. Building on that momentum, his 2025 single “Pensando y Pensando” marked his full emergence as a singer-songwriter—its lyric video garnered rapid traction on streaming and social media platforms. Competitions and performances followed, including an appearance at Mexico City’s ARRE Festival, solidifying his place in the contemporary music scene. Alongside his solo work, Armenta continued writing for heavyweights like Fuerza Regida (“Pa’ Que Hablen,” “Sigan Hablando”) and Peso Pluma (“MAMI” with Chino Pacas), reinforcing his dual identity as both an in-demand composer and a rising solo star.
