Arlissa

Arlissa Joann Ruppert, born 21 September 1992 in Germany and raised in London, is a British singer whose early life blends American, German, and British influences. Her debut single "Sticks & Stones" was released on 3 March 2013 and reached number 48 on the UK Singles Chart, earning a spot on BBC Radio 1’s Scott Mills Record of the Week and a nomination for the BBC Sound of 2013 longlist. In 2013 she issued the single "Sticks & Stones" and "Champagne On Me" on 11 August 2017, featuring singles such as "Heart’s Ain’t Gonna Lie" and "I Surrender". That year she collaborated with Jonas Blue on an EDM version of "Heart’s Ain’t Gonna Lie", and in 2018 performed the track on Today as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month. Arlissa contributed "We Won’t Move" to the The Hate U Give soundtrack in 2018, and released "Healing" in 2020. Her debut album The Open‑Hearted was issued on 6 October 2023 by Earth Angel Records, preceded by singles "Pieces", "Take", "Hard to Be", "My Heart Is on the Floor", and "Audacity".
