Ariel Tsai is a Canadian-Taiwanese singer-songwriter and pharmacy graduate from the University of British Columbia who rose to fame through her viral song covers and live streams, ultimately choosing to pursue music in Taiwan over a pharmacy career. After achieving major independent success with sold-out concerts and a massive online following, she signed with Sony Music in 2020, releasing her self-titled debut album and accumulating over 200 million YouTube views by early 2025. Some of her notable tracks are "Canon in Love" (2025), "æ¸1234" (2026) and "Wasted" (2026).
