Argy

Argy (Argyris Theofilis) is a Greek electronic music producer and DJ from Rhodes who began producing as a teenager before moving to London to study Music Technology. His first breakthrough arrived with the Poker Flat release “Love Dose” (2005), which put his name into the international club circuit and led into a long run of early house and techno records, including the album Focus On: Argy (2008) and later full-length projects such as Fundamentals (2011). Through the 2010s he continued releasing club-focused material and collaborations, then entered a new peak era in the 2020s as his melodic techno sound aligned with the Afterlife ecosystem. That period began with Tataki (2022), followed by the Afterlife single “Pantheon” (2023) with Goom Gum and “Aria” (2023) with Omnya, a track that became one of his signature cuts. In late 2023 he also collaborated with Anyma on “Higher Power,” further cementing his place in the melodic techno mainstream. He expanded those singles into larger album statements with New World (2024), then kept the series moving with releases like “RITMO” (2024) with Omiki and Son of Son. In 2026 he released NEWORLD II (2026), framing his recent output as a connected project built around recurring collaborators and big-room melodic techno writing.
