Arco Iris

Arco Iris is an Argentine rock band formed in 1968. Their early breakthrough came in 1969 with the single “Lo Veo En Tus Ojos / Canción Para Una Mujer," followed by their win at the “Festival Beat de la Canción Internacional” in Mar del Plata with “Lo Veo En Tus Ojos.” The band went on to develop a more ambitious and experimental sound, with key releases including Sudamerica O El Regreso A La Aurora (1972) and Tiempo De Resurrección (1972), alongside other related releases and compilations during the same period. The group disbanded in 2006. A later revival occurred in 2012 with the album Desde El Jardin, featuring founding members Ara Tokatlian and Guillermo Bordarampé alongside younger musicians.
