Arcane Roots

Arcane Roots is an English alternative rock band from Kingston upon Thames, England. Formed in 2006 by Andrew Groves, Daryl Atkins, and Frank Tiramani, their lineup also includes Adam Burton, Jack Wrench, and Bjarni Biering. Between the releases of several EPs, including Left Fire (2011) and Heaven & Earth (2015), they released their debut album Blood & Chemistry (2013). Notable singles include "In This Town of Such Weather" (2012) and "Resolve" (2013). They supported acts such as Muse and Biffy Clyro on tour, and signed to Easy Life Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music, in 2015. Their second studio album, Melancholia Hymns (2017), was followed by the EP Landslide (2018) and the single "Landslide" (2018), after which they disbanded. They reformed in 2025 and released the single "A Wave, Across the Sea" (2026).
