Anys

Hailing from Marrakech, Anys is one of the names that have been driving the burgeoning Moroccan rap scene since the 2010s. With the development of internationally-renowned talents such as Tagne, ElGrandeToto and Shayfeen, the country is gradually establishing itself as a breeding ground for new, seductive aesthetics. With "Dichotomy", a first track presented in 2018, Anys reveals to the public his hip-hop influences nourished by the voices of R'n'B. After a few tracks scattered here and there, he achieved his first major success through the duo he formed with Stormy for a featuring: their track "Si tu savais" (2020) entered numerous playlists and won over the Moroccan public. Boosted by this recognition, the following year saw the release of his first EP, Cloud 26 (2021), featuring contributions from Moroccan rap stars Dizzy DROS, ElGrandeToto and Ouenza. Divided between Paris and Morocco, Anys' trap music features vocals in three languages: Arabic, French and English. With his second EP, Lo-Fights (2022), the rapper lives up to expectations and is seen as one of the rising stars of Moroccan rap.
