Anupam Roy

Anupam Roy, born on March 29, 1982, in Kolkata, India, is a Bengali singer-songwriter and music director. He began his career with the soundtrack of the 2010 Bengali film Autograph, contributing songs like "Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao" and "Benche Thakar Gaan". Roy's debut album as a solo artist was Durbine Chokh Rakhbona in 2012, which included tracks such as "Bijli Baati" and "Tistaan". His subsequent albums include Dwitiyo Purush (2013), Bakyobageesh (2014), and Ebar Morle Gachh Hawbo (2017). In 2015, Roy made his Bollywood debut with the film Piku, for which he won the 61st Filmfare Award for Best Background Score. He has also composed songs for Hindi films such as Pink and Running Shaadi. Roy's notable achievements include winning four Filmfare Awards and the 64th National Film Award for Best Lyrics for the song "Tumi Jaake Bhalobasho".
