Anne Kirkpatrick

Anne Kirkpatrick was born on July 4, 1952 in Australia. She is a country music singer and daughter of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean. Her early involvement in music included participating in her family's annual tours. Kirkpatrick released several albums including Shoot The Moon (1978) and Annie's Songs (1980). Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, she continued to release albums such as Come Back Again (1987), Out of the Blue (1991), and Game of Love (1993). She won multiple Golden Guitar Awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 1979, 1991, and twice in 1992. In 1992, she also received an ARIA Award for Best Australian Country Record. Her contributions to country music were further recognized with her induction into the Australian Roll of Renown in 2010.
