Anna Depenbusch is a German singer-songwriter and musician born on October 17, 1977, in Hamburg. She performed music in the pop and chanson genres. Before her solo career, she provided background vocals for the group Orange Blue. Depenbusch released her debut studio recording, Ins Gesicht, in 2005. The recording âHeimatâ received a nomination for the Deutscher Musikautorenpreis. Her second studio recording, Die Mathematik der Anna Depenbusch, appeared in 2011. She performed the recording âKommando Untergangâ on the television program Inas Nacht in 2010. Depenbusch received the Fred-Jay-Preis and the Deutscher Chanson-Preis in 2012. Her discography included the studio recordings Sommer aus Papier (2012), Das Alphabet der Anna Depenbusch (2017), and Echtzeit (2020). In February 2025, her studio and planned album material were destroyed in a fire. She subsequently relocated to Kopenhagen.
