Andy Timmons

Andy Timmons, born July 26, 1963, in Evansville, Indiana, is an American guitarist and singer. He started playing guitar at age five, influenced by his three older brothers. Timmons joined the rock band Danger Danger in 1989, replacing Tony "Bruno" Rey as lead guitarist. His debut album with them was Danger Danger (1989). In 1994, he released his first solo album, Ear X-Tacy, followed by Ear X-Tacy 2 (1997) and The Spoken and the Unspoken (1999). He collaborated with notable artists such as Simon Phillips, Olivia Newton-John, Kip Winger, Paula Abdul, Paul Stanley, and Steve Vai. Fronting the Andy Timmons Band, he released Andy Timmons Band Plays Sgt. Pepper (2011), a tribute album to The Beatles' iconic record. Other notable solo releases included Resolution (2006) and Electric Truth (2022).
