Andrea Zellen (January 28, 1966), better known by her stage name Andrea Berg, is a German singer who performs in the Schlager genre. Born in the city of Krefeld, she began singing when she was a child and kicked off her professional career in 1992 after being discovered by producer Eugen Römer. Du Bist Frei, her studio debut, arrived later that year and was followed by 1995's Gefühle, which entered the Top 10 in Germany and Austria thanks to hit singles like "Wenn du mich willst, dann küß mich doch" and "Die Gefühle haben Schweigepflicht." During the 2000s, albums like Machtlos (2003), Splitternackt (2006), and Zwischen Himmel & Erde (2009) all reached the top of the German Albums Chart and turned her into one of the biggest commercial successes in Schlager music. In 2010, Andrea Berg severed ties with Römer and began working with musician Dieter Bohlen (of Modern Talking fame), creating a fruitful creative partnership that resulted in chart-topping albums like Schwerelos (2010), Abenteuer (2011), Atlantis (2013), and Seelenbeben (2016). In 2019, she continued her winning streak with her seventeenth album Mosaik, which achieved pole position in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
