Andra and the BackBone

Andra and the BackBone emerged from the music scene of Jakarta and had their breakthrough with the release of its self‑titled debut album Andra and the BackBone in 2007, featuring the single "Musnah", which entered the top positions on national radio charts and received extensive MTV airplay. In March 2008, the band issued the second studio album Season 2, followed by Love, Faith & Hope in 2010 and IV in 2011, the latter under GPS Record and featuring the lead single Alibi. Throughout its career, Andra and the BackBone collaborated with prominent Indonesian artists and participated in regional tours across Southeast Asia. The band’s consistent chart performance and recognition at national music award ceremonies underscored its influence within the Indonesian rock genre, marking it as a significant contributor to the contemporary music landscape.
