Anderlust was a Japanese music duo formed by singer-songwriter Anna Koshino and bassist/arranger Shingo Nishizuka. Known for blending lyrical depth with lush arrangements, the unit was born from a creative collaboration following Koshino's win of the NYLON Award in the 2014 “JAM” audition co-hosted by NYLON JAPAN and Sony Music. Anna Koshino, responsible for lyrics and melodies, was joined by Shingo Nishizuka, an experienced arranger who had previously worked with other artists. The duo debuted under Sony and explored a wide range of creative expressions beyond music, including film and art. They also launched a short film competition to find new collaborators across disciplines. In 2017, Shingo Nishizuka departed, and anderlust became Koshino’s solo project. However, with no releases since then, the project has remained inactive. Their track "Kaerimichi"(2016) stands as one of their final musical statements.
