Aminé

American rapper Aminé made a name for himself on his debut in 2016 with the melodic hit "Caroline". Born in Portland, Oregon, on April 18, 1994 to parents of Ethiopian and Eritrean ancestry, Adam Aminé Daniel, as he is known, studied business at university before turning to music. In 2014, he released the mixtape Odyssey to Me, followed by the EP En Vogue and another mixtape, Calling Brio (2015). Released shortly afterwards, the single "Caroline" peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned three certified platinum discs for its author, who also produced the video. In March 2017 follows the acclaimed single "RedMercedes" and in May "Heebiejeebies", featuring Kehlani. The latter and "Caroline" were included on the album Good for You (2017), which reached No. 31 on the Billboard 200. 2018 followed OnePointFive and the track "Invicible", featured on the soundtrack to the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Aminé continued with the album Limbo (2020) and collaborated with Kaytranada on the album Kaytraminé (2023), credited to the duo's own name. In 2025, two singles, "Vacay" and "Arc de Triomphe", precede the release of the album 13 Months of Sunshine.
