Almklausi

Klaus Meier, known professionally as Almklausi, was born on 5 April 1969 in Mössingen, Germany, and pursued a career as a pop and Schlager singer. He entered the music scene in the late 1980s as a party DJ and released his first single, "Hey kleines Luder", in 2002. The breakthrough came in 2007 when "Ein Stern (… der über Stuttgart steht)", a re‑texted version of a DJ Ötzi hit, entered the German charts under the alias Schwaben König, followed by the football‑themed single "Lo lo los geht's!" in 2008, which peaked at number 73 in the German singles chart.Almklausi’s discography progressed with the albums Lo Lo Los Geht's, Wer nicht hüpft der kann nicht feiern, and Duette. Notable collaborations included work with Markus Becker on "10 Meter geh’n" (2010) and with Helena Fürst on a cover of "Es ist geil ein Arschloch zu sein" (2016). He appeared on reality television, placing fifth in Promi Big Brother (2019) and participating in Das Sommerhaus der Stars (2021). His releases continued into the 2020s, with the single "Tretboot" issued in April 2025. Throughout his career, Almklausi received three Ballermann‑Awards (2016, 2017, 2018) for his contributions to party music culture.
