Ally Venable

Born in Kilgore, Texas, on April 7, 1999, blues guitarist and singer Ally Venale led her own band before continuing under her own name. She began playing guitar at the age of twelve, and made a name for herself on Texas stages with her band, The Ally Venable Band. After several self-produced albums, Wise Man (2013), Train Wreck Blues (2016) and No Glass Shoes (2016), the still teenage singer's band broke through with the next, Puppet Show (2018). Signed by specialist label Ruf Records, Ally Venable continues under her own name with the album Texas Honey (2019), featuring Eric Gales. Between two annual performances with the Blues Caravan tour follows 2021's Heart of Fire, then 2023's Real Gone, on which appear two distinguished guests, Buddy Guy and Joe Bonamassa. The four-time winner of the East Texas Music Award, with two group and two solo prizes, this time invites Shemekia Copeland and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram on Money & Power (2025).
