Alexe

Born in 1992 in Dolbeau-Mistassin, Canada, Alexe Gaudreault, known professionally as Alexe, is a Quebecois pop singer. Her musical journey began at the age of 14 when she showcased her talent in the Secondaire en spectacle competition. Initially pursuing a career as a professional makeup artist, Alexe's path took a turn towards music in 2013 when she became a part of Marc Dupré's team during the inaugural season of La Voix in Quebec. Her remarkable performance led her to the live shows and garnered a considerable fan following. In 2016, she unveiled her self-titled debut album, featuring captivating tracks like "Éclat," "Mirage," and "Placebo," which quickly gained popularity on Quebec radio. The same year, she took the stage as the opening act for Marc Dupré's concert at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Alexe's talent continued to flourish, and in 2017, she received a prestigious nomination at the ADISQ Gala for New Artist of the Year. She also graced the stage during the Fête Nationale on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City, sharing the spotlight with esteemed artists such as Marie-Mai, Vincent Vallières, and Richard Séguin. Throughout her career, Alexe released several hit singles such as "Écho" (2018), "Secret" (2019), "Comme dans les films"(2021), and her collaboration with Marie-Mai on "En Silence" (2022). In 2022, Alexe paid homage to Renée Martel by covering "Liverpool" which was released on a tribute album, released in March 2023.
