Compared to Michel Teló and Gusttavo Lima on his arrival on the international scene, Alex Ferrari is not, however, a sertanejo singer. Rather, he is a proponent of electro funk, and only owes his association with the two stars to his version of the song "Bara Bará Bere Berê", already performed by Michel Teló. In fact, "Bara Bará Bere Ber ê" has been a popular track in Brazil since 2007, and has been sung in many different versions by different performers. It was with a purely Latino dance version that Alex Ferrari climbed the French SNEP chart four by four in the summer of 2012.
