AKISSI

AKISSI is a 22-year-old French rapper and songwriter, originally from Fontenay-sous-Bois and based in Paris. Trained as a child at the conservatoire, she explored hip-hop, soul, jazz and opera, and began playing guitar at the age of 8. After a first EP in English, StandStrong, she turned to French with IMPURE. in February 2023, an introspective project with a trap sound. In the autumn of 2023, she made a stylistic shift with the release of "PQ TU QUÉMANDES? a viral video on X that racked up over 100,000 views, marking a transition to more incisive, minimalist rap. This renewal is confirmed with "BROKE ASS BOY", a single with Californian influences produced by Jungle333, where she imposes a detached flow and an assertive attitude. In November 2023, she unveiled her second EP, Ciel m'en veut, a five-track project dealing with coming-of-age, loneliness and melancholy, thus consolidating her singular artistic universe. AKISSI also stands out for her versatility, directing her own music videos, and for the meticulous visual aesthetic that accompanies her musical productions.
