Akira Yuki

Yuki Akira (born June 5, 1998 in Oita Prefecture, raised in Saitama) is a Japanese multi-disciplinary singer-songwriter and visual artist who explores themes of life, fragility, and emotion through music and art. She began playing trumpet in elementary school and taught herself guitar at age 11. By 12, she was writing songs, and during high school, she launched live-streaming performances that quickly gained traction, earning over two million views and recognition as a digital-native artist. She independently released her first mini-album Prologue in 2015, followed by EPILOGUE and the single "Kioku". In 2017, Yuki made her national debut with "Kimerunowa "ima no boku", Ikirunowa "Asatte no bokura" on LD\&K Records. Her immersive shows often blend music with exhibitions, exemplified in projects like Zangai no Kokyuu. In 2019, she made her major debut with "Tanjou ~~Birthday~~" and later released "Ippiki Okami". Yuki established her own label TANEtoNE RECORDS in 2021, and released her full-length album W in 2022. In 2025, she continues to expand her reach across disciplines. On June 5, 2025, she released her latest single "Boku ga konosekai wo utaunonara", reinforcing her role as a boundary-pushing storyteller blending sound and vision.
