Aghasi

Nematollah Azmoodeh, known professionally as Aghasi, was born on July 21, 1939, in Ahvaz, Iran. He began his career as a singer and songwriter, initially gaining recognition through his performances at Laleh-Zar. His breakthrough came when he became the first Laleh-Zari singer to have his voice broadcast on Iranian National Radio and Television. Aghasi released several notable albums, including Naneh Nemat. He also collaborated with other artists, such as Andranik Madadian. In 2003, two years before his death, Aghasi returned to the Pars Theater in Laleh-Zar for a celebrated performance that drew significant public attention. On November 6, 2005, Nematollah Azmoodeh passed away from a stroke at his home in Karaj and was buried in Emamzadeh Taher cemetery.
