Admiral Freebee

Admiral Freebee is the stage name of Belgian singer-songwriter Tom Van Laere, born in 1975 in Brasschaat and based in Antwerp. Launching his career after finishing runner-up and winning the audience award at Humo's Rock Rally in 2000, he signed with Universal Music and released his self-titled debut album in 2003. His next three albums—Songs (2005), Wild Dreams of New Beginnings (2006), and The Honey & The Knife (2010)—all reached Number 1 on the Flemish albums chart. He later expanded his discography with The Great Scam (2014), Wake Up and Dream (2016), A Duet for One (2017), and The Gardener (2021).
