Addrisi Brothers

The Addrisi Brothers, an American pop music duo, were composed of Donald "Don" Addrisi and his younger brother Richard "Dick" Addrisi. The brothers formed their duo in the late 1950s with Donald Addrisi as the guitarist and lead vocalist, while Dick Addrisi handled vocals only. The Addrisi Brothers released several singles, including "Cherrystone", a cover of The Everly Brothers' song, which gained some popularity in 1959. Their career took off with their song "We've Got to Get It On Again" (1972). Their composition "Never My Love", first recorded by The Association in 1967, became one of the most covered songs in BMI's history and reached seven million recordings. Dick Addrisi received an honour from the BMI Pop Awards in 1998 for his contribution to this song. The duo continued their career under various labels, including Bell Records and Scotti Brothers Records. They also composed the theme song for the ABC series Nanny and the Professor. Following Don Addrisi's death in 1984, Dick Addrisi continued working as a composer and songwriter.
