A Winged Victory for the Sullen is an American ambient music duo composed of Dustin OâHalloran and Adam Wiltzie. The duo met while Wiltzie was on tour with Sparklehorse in Bologna, where they began their collaboration. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2011. In 2013, they composed the original score for Wayne McGregorâs dance production Atomos, which premiered at Sadlerâs Wells Theatre in London, with an accompanying album released in 2014. An EP, Atomos VII, was also released as part of this project. The duo performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of The Proms in 2015. Their later studio album The Undivided Five was released by Ninja Tune in 2019, followed by Invisible Cities in 2021.
