69 Boyz

69 Boyz, an American hip hop duo consisting of Van "Thrill Da Playa" Bryant from Jacksonville, Florida and Barry "Fast" Wright from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1992. The group was initiated by Thrill Da Playa with the assistance of producers C.C. Lemonhead and Jay Ski. Their breakthrough came in the summer of 1994 with their debut single "Tootsee Roll" from the album 199Quad. The song reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went platinum, marking a significant milestone for the duo. Following this success, their second single "Kitty Kitty" peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1996, they contributed to the soundtrack of the film Sunset Park with the track "Hoop N Yo Face". Their second album, The Wait Is Over, released in July 1998, featured the single "Woof Woof", which peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group's third and fourth albums, 2069 (released in April 2000) and Trunk Funk 101 (September 2001), each had one single release: "How We Roll" and "She's Skurred", respectively.
