3 Inches of Blood

3 Inches of Blood, a Canadian heavy metal band from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 2000. The group initially started as a solo project by Jamie Hooper, who later collaborated with Cam Pipes and Justin Hagberg on vocals, Shane Clark on guitar, and Ash Pearson on drums. Their debut album Battlecry Under a Wintersun was released in 2002 under Teenage Rampage and Fashion Before Function labels. The band gained international recognition after signing with Roadrunner Records in 2004. In 2007, they released their third album, Fire Up the Blades, produced by Joey Jordison of Slipknot. Jamie Hooper left the group in late 2008, and Justin Hagberg took over the guttural vocals for their subsequent album, Here Waits Thy Doom. The band disbanded in 2015 due to personal reasons.
