2000 Won

2000 Won was formed in 2013 by Kim Hyo‑bin and Kim Il‑do, both born in 1990 in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The duo, with Hyo‑bin as vocalist and Il‑do as rapper, first gained attention as contestants on K‑pop Star 2, finishing in the top four and securing a contract with Reve Entertainment in July 2013. Their official debut followed on 14 March 2014 with the single "Beautiful", accompanied by a teaser featuring singer Ailee; the track entered the Korean charts and established the group’s presence in the K‑pop scene. On 11 April 2014, they released their debut EP, 2000Won 1st Mini Album, which included the title track "Beautiful" and additional songs that showcased their blend of K‑hip hop and pop. Subsequent releases included the single "Good Bam" in May 2015, "4th Single" in February 2018, and "5th Single" in February 2020.
