091

091 is a Spanish rock group from Granada that formed in 1982 and disbanded in 1996. The band took its name from the emergency number for the Spanish National Police. Their early concerts in southern Spain showcased their powerful and aggressive style. They released their debut album Cementerio de automóviles (1984) under DRO Records. They returned with Más de cien lobos (1986) on Discos Zafiro, which featured production by Joe Strummer of The Clash. Subsequent albums included Debajo de las piedras (1988), Doce canciones sin piedad (1989), and El baile de la desesperación (1991). In 1996, after 15 years of activity, the group disbanded following their final concert in Maracena. They resumed activities in 2015, releasing the live album Maniobra de resurrección (2016) and the studio album La otra vida (2019).
