鶴 The Crane

林泰羽, known professionally as 鶴 The Crane (Arnold Lin), is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter born on October 20, 1994, in Taipei. He began his musical journey in 2015 as a synthesizer player and drummer for the electro-folk band The Other (他者), releasing two EPs in 2016 and 2020 and touring with artists like Hush and Enno Cheng. In 2018, he co-composed the soundtrack for the historical drama The Miracle Daughter. In 2021, he signed with the label Forbidden Paradise (新樂園) founded by ØZI, Mickey Lin, and Razor Chiang, and released his debut solo single “Unique Design” that November. His first full-length album, TALENT, came out in December 2022, earning critical acclaim: nominations for Best New Artist and Best Mandarin Male Singer at the 34th Golden Melody Awards, and wins at the 14th Golden Indie Awards for Best New Artist and Best R&B Album. In 2023, he also claimed the Best New Mandarin Artist title at the APMA. In June 2025, he released his second album, Same Stories, Different Narratives.
